Director, Pharmacovigilance is responsible for the oversight and conduct of all pharmacovigilance and medical information activities performed by their assigned direct reports or as otherwise assigned.  The role also participates in business development activities. 

Responsibilities:

In the role of Director, Pharmacovigilance you will be responsible for:

LEADERSHIP 

• Lead, coach and develop direct reports to create a positive employee experience and
• build team capability
• Manage performance and develop skills of direct reports;
• Be available as a resource for team members and colleagues, providing advice on project
• and regulatory strategies;
• Be a member of the Pharmacovigilance Leadership group, participating in the planning
• and execution of the strategic direction of the department; 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 

• Identify business development opportunities, participate in or conduct potential client consultations, participate in or conduct quote and proposal preparation;
• Present at applicable conferences, webinars and workshops. 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT 

• Establish client project scopes, establish timeframes, manage project priorities, workflow and budget;
• Identify project issues and develop management strategies;
• Lead and participate in formal and informal interactions with clients and regulatory agencies;
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients and regulatory
• agencies;
• Provide clients with strategic advice in relationship to pharmacovigilance or medical information matters.
