About the Director, Project Management at ICON in our Peri-Approval & Observational Research unit:
Peri-Approval & Observational Research (PAOR) is the operational delivery area under ICON’s Commercialization & Outcomes business unit that executes non-interventional, observational research and peri/post-approval (e.g., Phase IIIB and IV) clinical research. This may include research of products (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biologics, devices, combinations, diagnostics, etc.) and healthcare delivery in general. PAOR conducts research globally; this position has regional focus.
 
This position will manage the activities of Project Management staff, which may include directors, project managers and others in a manner that ensures all timeframes and targets are met and that costs are kept under control. You will serve as a senior level liaison with clients, overseeing project delivery and revenue management. To represent ICO in Business Development activities and meet assigned revenue targets. To provide leadership and assist the VP with effectively managing PAOR. Provide senior oversight to the management of project financials, including but not limited to, change in scope, client and vendor invoicing/reimbursement, grant payments

To succeed you will need:
A minimum of 10 years relevant research experience required including 6 years of project management and 5 years of line management experience. A minimum of 3 years late phase experience required. Global observational and interventional peri-approval research experience or a combination of: peri and post approval interventional; and pragmatic research models is required. Master’s degree or local equivalent is preferred.
