The Role:
As ESG Coordinator, you will be working with & supporting ICON ESG members and other business stakeholders in order to deliver all aspect of the ICON Environmental management plan and all ICON Green initiatives across key business impact areas.
This role will support the creation and promotion of ICON's Environmental Management Plan activities and tools aimed at transforming the industry to achieve sustainability & environmental improvements to ICON, Our customers, our employees and our communities.
You will be providing administrative support for activities intended to provide the business with the tools and guidance they require drive excellence and care to the communities in which ICON operates.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordination of business transformation activities (workshops, meetings, projects etc.) In line with ICON Environmental Management Plan (EMP) long term strategy and annual operating plan and in line with ICON's Ethical Code of conduct and Environmental Management Policy.
Conducting desktop research, analysing findings and writing outputs (e.g. case studies, blogs, reports etc.) and contribute to effective ways of storing and sharing the findings across the ICON ESG team, ICON Corporate management and beyond
Engaging with members, clients and other stakeholders via phone, email and meetings regarding specific ESG activities
Supporting with all ESG activities including annual environmental & sustainability month, carbon trust submissions, employee initiatives & competitions.
Keeping up to date on topics of expertise and act as the point of reference for them within ICON ESG team.
Support with analysing and tracking relevant industry policy positions across key topics of waste, resources, and embodied carbon
Prepare for and attend meetings with external vendors and other key stakeholders
Input into policy roundtables and workshops
Contribute to written responses to policy consultations
Take part in regular meetings and away days related to ESG operations and work streams
As part of the ICON 'Green Team' help ensure the organization meets its own sustainable operation goals

What you will need:
Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in an office administrative role, with a genuine interest in the ESG (Environmental area)
Comfortable working with numbers - strong research and analytical skills, and data-driven thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable by phone, email and face to face
Strong presentation skills
Competent use of standard Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Very good attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects and multi-tasking in a busy and ambitious team
