Financial Analyst I
Location: Mexico City - Insurgentes Sur
(Hybrid model 3 days peer week working at office)

The Financial Analyst I in Global Commercial Operations is responsible for the calculation of the ICON Business Development Incentive Compensation Plan on a quarterly basis. The role will also be actively involved in supporting weekly and monthly sales reporting needs across the organization.
The role:
Develop and maintain recurring reports and analysis which include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for the completion of quarterly ICON Business Development Incentive Compensation Plan calculations. Support corporate finance with the quarterly accrual process.
Assist with the quarterly close process, which includes the board presentation and investor call materials.
Complete and distribute weekly sales performance by Service Area. Analyze current quarter and YTD results against applicable targets.
Aide in the compilation of the Weekly Opportunities Roadmap.
Take active leadership in managing the service, sponsor and account executive award and RFP targets.
Support the creation and continued enhancing of service area forecasts for Commercial and Operational leadership.
Other ad-hoc sales reporting needs from across the enterprise.

Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.
What you will need:
At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a finance setting (possibly client facing and/ or business partnering)
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economic and finance,.
Excellent working knowledge of MS office package, in particular Excel with ability to manipulate and draw meaningful analysis and actions from data
Proficient in business analysis methodologies and techniques.
Solid understanding of sales and compensation plans.
Ability to perform calculations on time, revenues, and commercial aspects with a strong emphasis on finance.
Experience in sales analysis, including identifying trends and opportunities.
Ideally a fluent understanding of key aspects of clinical research, including program design, program management, metrics, and pricing
English advanced fluent
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to inspire confidence
