This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

As a HRIS Project Manager you will be responsible for providing project management support to the overall Global HRIS implementation Programme.


As a HRIS Project Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • To understand current Programme structure and approach.
  • To re plan at a detail level each work stream and roll up to overall project plan.
  • Fulfill all requirements of ICON IT PMO reporting requirements
  • Stakeholder Management across IT, HR and the Programme Organisation.
  • Budget development control and reporting

As HRIS Project Manager your skills and experience will include:

  • Agile Project Management experience and relevant PM qualifications
  • Significant experience of similar Global ERP programs
  • HRIS and related business process and best practice business analysis.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems is desirable, ideally 2 full life cycle HRIS implementations, including business process re-engineering.
  • Solid understanding of the software deployment process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, then document, present and gain buy in from senior management.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Ability to communicate with all functional areas of the business including IT, Finance, HR.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.
  • Ability to operate under a dual reporting relationship (HR, IT etc.).
