The Role:
IT Risk Team Lead
The IT Risk Team Lead will identify, analyse, assess, and manage ICON IT operational risks that have the potential to threaten ICON assets and information. ICON Risk Managers effectively communicate with ICON IT and business executives to establish IT Risk responses and manage IT Risk activities to reduce IT Risk exposure.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up to date IT risk information in ICON IT Risk register.
- Identify and analyse IT Risks that have the potential to impact ICON.
- Conduct assessments to define and analyse identified IT Risks.
- Evaluate and rate IT Risks per established IT Risks Management processes and criteria.
- Prepare and present IT Risks assessment reports to IT and Business leaders.
- Recommend additional control opportunities to mitigate, eliminate, or reduce overall risk rating.
- Establish and record business IT Risk response.
- Perform regular follow up with relevant IT Risk stakeholders to ensure agreed response activities are progressing as expected.
- Retire risks that are no longer valid or are below established thresholds.
To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:
- Experience managing IT risks for a large organization.
- Strong documentation skills
- Knowledge of risk assessments and controls
- Familiarity with Risk Management Frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)
- Analytical mind with problem solving aptitude.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
