Resource Specialist/Vendor Management (Translation)
Location: Raleigh/Durham, NC (will consider remote staff located within the US)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Resource Specialist/Vendor Management to join our Language Services team within the Clinical Research Industry. Do you have an interest in languages? We have both client facing roles and project management roles available, based out of our Raleigh/Durham, NC office. Successful candidates must possess exceptional communication and customer service skills. Aapplicants must also be able to demonstrate drive, passion, great attention to detail and be comfortable managing a variety of tasks at one time. A background/qualification in Languages, English, Marketing or Business is preferred but not essential.
Our Language Services team is part of our Commercialization and Outcomes group. The team provides the coordination and management of Translation and Linguistic Validation projects for both internal and external clients. Resource Specialist/Vendor Management responsibilities include but are not limited to: supplier negotiations, vetting linguistics, recruitment, and reporting.
To succeed you will need:
- Fluency in English both orally and in writing with excellent communication skills – Native level English is required for our project management roles
- Process-driven and strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills
- Strong team player
- Exceptional customer service
- Experience in managing multiple, varied tasks simultaneously and independently
- MS Office Suite
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the translation industry, preferably in vendor management of linguistic validation projects
