Manager, Global Supply Chain
An exciting opportunity to join our Global Supply Chain team and make an immensely positive impact on our company has arisen, and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager, Global Supply Chain to be based in our Dublin office. Strong IT/MRP Supply chain experience as well as Inventory Management, Sales and Operations planning/SNOP experience and Planning experience would all benefit this role.

Travel (could be up to approximately 20%) nationally, within Europe and outside Europe is likely. You will be Dublin office based with the ability to have either a fully office based or Hybrid role - whichever works best for you. (Please note we would look for a 60/40 spilt with 60% office based for a hybrid role).
Responsibilities:
To manage the staff and operational activity in Logistics Department, Dublin and functionally in Singapore*
• To organise and monitor the efficient delivery of shipments to ICL locations (primarily Dublin, Singapore, India and China) through close liaison with vendors, staff and sponsors on all logistics issues
To ensure processes are carried out within agreed turnaround times and in accordance with documented procedures*
Establishing and maintaining the best available courier support available for ICON purposes, with respect to performance and pricing and input into tariff negotiations, in conjunction with the Global Logistics team
Ensuring ICON labs is compliant with industry and international regulations and procedures as they pertain to the shipping and receiving of materials
Maintaining performance metrics on all couriers and making timely recommendations to senior management if these requirements are not met
Overseeing the tracking of all inbound/outbound shipments and providing ICON staff and clients with updates as required according to global procedures
Overseeing the production of detailed customs/proforma invoices for shipments
Monitoring of monthly courier invoices to ensure pricing matches agree tariffs
Improving the global departments operational performance by introducing new ideas and concepts, with particular focus on the use of specialized/temperature sensitive packaging materials
Representation at Sponsor audits/visits and support of the Global Business Development and Project Management teams in response to Logistic issues
Responsibility for the Logistics component of the Business Contingency Plan for the Dublin and APAC locations
