Marketing Leads Specialist at ICON

The successful candidate will join the Digital Operations team, reporting to the Digital Operations Marketing Manager. You will drive the day-to-day triage and management of marketing generated and qualified leads from marketing campaigns, channels and conferences to business development and other internal stakeholders. This role will entail working closely with other members of the marketing team, in particular marketing campaign managers, conferences and webinars team, as well as specialists in marketing automation and analytics.

This role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria and the successful candidate will be expected to work at the ICON office in Sofia three days a week as part of an agreed hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Review and qualify marketing qualified leads for further nurture, follow up and conversion. Triage marketing qualified leads to appropriate business development executives, or Inside Sales, for further contact
  • Review inbound enquiries and RFPs submitted via the public website and triage to relevant business development executives, or other internal stakeholders, within 24 hours
  • Co-ordinate weekly review calls with conferences and events team and relevant marketing business partners to review marketing generated leads to determine if further actions required
  • Co-ordinate periodic review calls with business development executives on campaign and marketing qualified leads for their respective business units. Advise on relevant marketing sales enablement collateral, and account marketing insights, to support follow up, if appropriate
  • Collaborate with marketing analysts and automation manager on campaign performance metrics, marketing list segmentation and marketing database data governance
  • Collaborate with CRM Sales operations team to identify and implement process, dashboard and reporting improvements
  • Using analytics dashboards, support reporting and evaluation of metrics on marketing lead generation, conversion to marketing qualified leads, and RFP opportunities (volume and value)
  • Conduct regular monitoring of performance by analysing data, producing reports and communicating results to various internal stakeholders

To succeed you will need:

  • IT literacy and skills required include experience of CRM systems (Salesforce), MS Office (in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Marketing Automation Systems would be preferred but not required.
  • Scientific and/or sales/marketing background in pharmaceutical/biotech area helpful
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings, and areas of opportunities to Digital Marketing Operations Manager
  • A pro-active attitude to take on new challenges and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
