Performance and Reward Specialist
 
Location: Dublin

The Role
You will join the Global Reward team and will have responsibility for supporting ICON’s global performance and reward programmes with a primary focus on Performance and Reward Annual Cycles, Equity Awards program, and ICON’s Global Mobility programme.
 
What will you be doing?
  • You will support the Global Performance & Reward team to develop reward policies, best practice solutions, which fit with our reward philosophy & guiding principles.
  • Play a key role in the annual reward review by supporting implementation of program design and system solutions.
  • Partner with core team to support Workday compensation configuration alongside HR Technology.
  • Delivers analytics to support the Reward function in effectively delivering global pay, recognition & retention programs, organisational design analysis and global mobility policies.
  • Working with internal finance teams and external advisers to ensure compliance with tax filing and payment obligations globally.
  • Maintain and handle stock plan processes including stock grants, exercises, replenishment, lapses, and reporting of payroll and taxes.
  • Ensure robust checks and balances for all plan activities are in place and maintained.
  • Assist with preparation of employee communications relating to stock plans and processes.
  • Assist with preparing material as input to the Board and Compensation Committee as needed.
  • Develop and maintain stock process documentation to ensure internal compliance and partner with external/internal auditors as required.
  • Handle tax and immigration queries relating to key employee global moves.
  • Liaise with external tax providers as necessary and assist in interpretation and implementation of advice received.
 
Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
  • Recently Qualified or Part qualified Accountant/Tax Professional.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience; or equivalent transferable experience in a tax/accounting role.
  • Great teammate with good communication skills.
  • Previous HR and ‘Workday’ experience an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills confident to influence decisions.
  • Exceptionally inventive, detail and customer-service oriented.
  • Exposure to different types of Equity Plans in both private and public companies.
  • Experience partnering with third party recordkeeping system, particularly Morgan Stanley Sapphire, a distinct advantage.
  • Strong organization, planning and analytical skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues;
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and discipline to deliver complete and accurate results.
