Job Title                                  : Manager, Production Operations
Reporting to                            :  Senior Manager, Production Operations

Summary:
 
To effectively manage the Interactive Technology Support Services activities of individual projects and staff in a manner that ensures a high level of customer service/support and quality.
 
Key Responsibilities & Duties:

      As a Manager, the employee is expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of processimprovement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
      *Travel (approximately 35%) domestic and/or international
      Manage all staff under his/her jurisdiction*
      Ensure that projects are conducted in timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate regulation and toliaise with other department managers as necessary to achieve this.*
      Monitor project budgets and communicate issue to department management in a timely manner.*
      Monitor the quality specification within projects/departments.*
      Liaise with clients on project related matters.*
      Ensure all necessary training is provided to  his/her staff.  Maintain documentation of training as appropriate
      Keep senior management informed of project status in relation to both quality and timelines. *
      Liaise with other managers/directors to improve the effectiveness of the organization.*
      Maintain confidentiality of management information as appropriate.*
      Participate in business development activities as appropriate.*
      Other duties and responsibilities as assigned*
 
 
 
 
 
 
Supervision
 
·         Ensure  all  necessary  training  is provided  to  his/her  staff  to  improve  their  job  performance  and
Knowledge.
·         Proactively participate in the selection and recruitment of suitable and qualified staff. * Act as mentor/role model for staff
·         Evaluate performance of direct reports*
·         Support direct reports in establishing and accomplishing mutually agreeable goals that contribute to the success of theorganization as a whole.*
 
 
Experience required
 
      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirementslisted below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made toenable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions .
 
      US/LATAM/CAN-  Minimum of 2 years of staff management experience. Background in medicine, science or other relevantdiscipline. Call center experience preferred 
 
      EU/APAC:  Prior relevant Experience  in managing staff. Background in medicine, science, or other relevant discipline.
 
      Proven ability to coordinate all support aspects of project management.
      Proven ability to successfully manage project teams.
       Proven ability to liaise successfully with clients.
 
      Ability and willingness to handle after hours/weekend on-call function which requires maintaining close proximity(within 20 minutes) of a computer with a remote connection.
      Possess a valid driver's license,
      Foreign language skills desirable.
      Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel.  Therefore, dependent on theemployee's location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Driver’s license.
*An alternative  combination  of experience , education,  and training  determined  by management  to  be equivalent to theforegoing .
 
Academic or Trade qualifications:
 
      Bachelors' degree in Life Sciences, Business Technology or Information Technology or local equivalentdegree/experience
