About the role

As a Clinical Study Operations Manager (cSOM) you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence. Our sponsor, based in Brussels is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced candidate with extensive experience in clinical study management.


The cSOM is responsible for regional/country level actitivities from study start-up through conduct and study close. The Study Operations Manager will be assigned to one or more studies and will be tasked with taking on several responsibilities in support of the larger Study Management deliverables for their country/region.

 

Your role:

 

  • Expert in managing and coordinating specific study managements tasks at country level
  • Drive operations at regional and local level througout study start-up, conduct and close-out.
  • Lead regional/country Operational Sub-teams

 

What you will be doing:

  • Accountable for overseeing and maintaining country deliverables as part of the overall project plan. Manages and maintains accurate country level plans
  • Ensures timely communication between the global and the study team
  • Responsible for report and issue review for reports/issues written by the site care partner 
  • Drives recruitment and data cleaning at regional/country level
  • Responsible for local country vendor management

You are:

  • Holding a scientific degree
  • Experienced Clinical Trial Manager or Study Start-Up Manager
  • Skilled in Country level operational activities and/or vendors
  • Able to operate in a matrix environment and to manage complex processes
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal in English
