Senior Account Executive (Firecrest/Technology – EU)

 

Summary:

 

Firecrest Clinical was an acquisition into ICON plc. in 2011, With over 15 years’ experience, 450,000 users and 1200 studies complete, Firecrest Solutions is the global leader in delivering site performance. Firecrest accelerates study timelines by ensuring excellence in trial execution leading to average data query reductions of 17% and a reduction of protocol deviations by 25-50%. The Firecrest solution streamlines and accelerates clinical trials while reducing cost. It does this by reducing the timelines in clinical studies, increasing compliance, reducing site burden leading to reduced deviations and increasing patient recruitment.

 

The solution is used by all study stakeholders (monitors; investigators; and sponsor).  Firecrest is an integral part of ICON and a valued tool to our customers.

 

We are currently looking to strengthen our Firecrest team through the recruit of a Senior Account to support business activity within the Midwest, US.

 

As Senior Account Executive you will hold responsibility for demonstrating and selling the solutions that Firecrest provides to its customers.    Demonstrations may be to existing ICON customers or prospects. An important part of the job is to listen to and understand the customer’s needs to tailor and position the best use of Firecrest to each customer respectively. Additionally, a core responsibility of the Senior Account Executive is to work with the customers on awarded projects to ensure value and best possible experience to support expanded use of Firecrest solutions up to a complete enterprise use.

 

Working as part of our global Business Development team you will partner with colleagues with other clinical sales responsibilities to provide a strong bid presentations.

 

You will work closely with the sponsor to understand customer requirements, communicating this information in-house and allowing for bespoke customisations to be made.

 

To be successful in this role you should have a solutions sales background, preferably selling into Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical environments. A knowledge and understanding of clinical trials and CRO’s is preferable.
