Senior Director, Health Economics

DESCRIPTION
The role has responsibility for leadership of teams and projects in our growing Health Economics practice.  The role contributes to the overall direction of the practice, works with clients to conceptualize health economics projects, and leads internal teams to deliver those projects.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Provide support to the Vice President in implementing LPOR business strategies
• Provide oversight of resourcing, staff devleopment, recruitment activities and department growth
• Act as part of the leadership team in building business links within LPOR and with ICON Clinical Research
• Lead publications, scientific communications and other thought-leadership activities

·         Define and solve clients’ problems; participation in business development activities

·         Lead project development, and delivery; ensure delivery of high quality projects

Travel = approximately 20% (domestic and/or international)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master of Science degree or local equivalent in a relevant discipline, PhD preferred
• Experience working in a health care/consultancy environment
• Demonstrable experience of people management
