Senior Director, Project Management (Biosimilars & Biotech) role at ICON:
 
Location: Any US ICON Office or Home-Based
 
As a Senior Director, Project Management within our Biosimilars & Biotech team, you will work cross functionally to develop clinical strategies for clinical trials and programs. Working with Business Development in supporting proposals including proposal writing and budget development. Work with our Project Teams to support them in presenting creative strategies to ICON customers.
 
This role will provide therapeutic expertise across the organization including feasibility assessment and training to cross functional teams whom are supporting project needs within key clients.  
 
Provide coaching and mentoring to Program Managers, Directors and Senior Project Managers (PMs) and contribute to department training initiatives, as appropriate. Coordinate and manage the activities of individuals, studies and staff in a manner that ensures all timeframes, deliverables and targets are met and that financial costs are kept under control.

Role Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in medicine, science or equivalent degree is required and a qualification in Project Management or equivalent (PMI certification) or advanced medical degree is highly desired.
 
A minimum of ten years of full service project management or clinical research consulting experience with therapeutic expertise across a wide array of complex therapeutic indications is required. Strong drug development knowledge is required. Biosimilars experience is not required as we offer training but, experience working in complex indications such as Oncology or Immunology is a must.
 
Track record of successfully leading large, complex, global, and cross functional projects. Strong domestic and international project management experience required. Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
