Senior Investigator Payment Associate

What you will be doing:

• Minimize regulatory, legal, and financial risks  related to site payments through collaboration with external providers, investigative sites, and other internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Compliance, and QA.
• Develop and maintain site payment optimization process with company stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver site payment optimization budget training internally and to external providers 
• Function as subject matter expert for site payments globally.
• Identify, draft and deliver new processes and policies related to subject matter expertise as needed (including but not limited to site payment optimization process).
• Serve as the liaison between Development Operations, investigative sites and external providers to address site payment related issues for all studies.
• Maintains consistent communications with internal and external clients, including in-person discussion, telephone calls, and e-mail.
• Conduct or assist with financial payment audits related to studies as required
• Develop and maintain site payment hold, closed study invoicing, and external provider accountability procedures and training related thereto.
• Engage and deliver special projects as needed.

You are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years negotiating Site contracts and budgets and/or facilitating/managing site payments.
• Ability to negotiate and manage complex payment disputes.
• Flexibility to assume a workload which frequently necessitates an adjustment of priorities.
• Goal oriented, self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
• Able to proactively identify issues and provide potential solutions for resolution.
• Detail oriented.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deliverables in accordance with stated timelines.
