Senior Manager, Bioanalytical Services- Whitesboro NY- on site
As Senior Manager, Bioanalytical Services in our Whitesboro, New York location, you will play a pivotal role in supervising, training, and developing laboratory staff to foster growth and excellence. You will be responsible for thought leadership surrounding bioanalytical method development and validation with immunoassays. In addition to utilizing your scientific expertise, your responsibilities will extend to coaching, mentoring, and providing regular performance feedback as well as supporting a culture of process improvement through focused streamlined processes, adding value to our business, and meeting client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Interact with management and project leaders to address practical and specific aspects of studies.
Serve as the main point of communication for scientific matters, presenting background and laboratory-related issues to staff before study commencement.
Ensure timely analysis to deliver meaningful results, adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Produce, review, and maintain laboratory SOPs and controlled documentation.
Lead method development and validation activities, with project management experience considered a plus.
Analyze clinical and preclinical samples following SOPs and protocols.
Qualify analytical equipment and manage laboratory reagents and consumables.
Attend client meetings and relevant study-related discussions.
Travel approximately 15% domestically and/or internationally.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in science, with 10+ years of experience in a BioA lab; OR PhD with 5+ years in a BioA lab.
Bioanalytical method development and validation experience with immunoassays/ligand binding assays.
Proven people leader skills, capable of leading a total team of 15-20.
Strong communication and regulator interaction skills.
Experience in producing study-specific documents.
Familiarity with validation of analytical methods and implementation of Quality systems.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle additional duties as directed by the Director of Immunoassay Laboratory Services or designee.
Ability to relocate to Whitesboro, New York

Salary Range
$123,900 to $148,700
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level. You may be eligible for a bonus, stock compensation and commissions in some cases depending on your role and performance.
