About the Senior Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance at ICON:
ICON Clinical Research has a strong reputation in our approaches to clinical development.   As a world class Clinical Research Organization we apply scientific and operational excellence across all phases of clinical trial outsourcing services for our clients.   Develop and maintain effective regulatory intelligence strategies while managing planning and allocating workload for associated activities. Drive quality management system in conjunction with QA leadership team.
 
The Senior Manager will report to the VP, GRC to support the implementation of quality and regulatory compliance initiatives within a governance framework. Provide information as needed to ICON’s Risk Management Oversight Committee and respond to regulatory authority inspections and requests in collaboration with operations, legal and other leadership.  Evaluate trending of quality data and metrics in the context of industry standards and regulations with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, continuous improvement and preventative signalling.

To succeed you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required while an advanced degree is preferred. At least 2 years’ experience in managing global teams and 4 years’ experience in managing complex operational functions in a regulated industry along with extensive regulatory and operational knowledge. Ability to assess potential compliance issues and risks across operational functions is required. Project management and lean six sigma capabilities are highly preferred along with a valid driver’s license to travel approximately 35% as needed.
