Senior Project Analyst, London or Raleigh
We are looking for a Senior Project Analyst to join our winning team rated by Forbes as America’s best mid-size employer for 2017!
As the Senior Project Analyst you will support the Clinical Outcomes Assessments (COA) team on proposal development and project-related tasks. Assist with drafting budgets and proposal content, creating templates and developing a library of content and liaising with clients on new opportunities. You will also assist with scope and financial management as well as managing project resources.
We are looking for someone with strong organizational and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment consistently evolving and growing. You will have the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to support both the Account Management (AM) and Project Management (PM) teams.
ICON’s Clinical Outcome Assessment group provides services geared to meet the demands of global and national markets for high quality patient-centered data. Our COA group brings together a large team of Outcomes Research scientists, consultants, and project managers with expertise in the selection, development, validation and analysis of Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) and other COA instruments. The group has a deep understanding of the marketplace and regulatory landscapes, and helps decision-makers to understand the value of patient-centered endpoints and to estimate the impact of new health technologies.
To Succeed You Will Need:
· Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent with preference for degrees in life sciences, business, technology, information technology or related discipline.
· Fluency in English both orally and in writing, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to clearly present solutions to clinical and pharmaceutical clients.
· Ability to learn new tools, technologies and strategies related to the department’s service area.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
· Ability to take action to achieve goals and targets.
· Strong team player in a multi-cultural environment.
· Ability to clearly present instructions, negotiate pricing and address issues with suppliers and internal and external stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment of peers and leaders, and other colleagues across offices and departments.
· Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Ability to learn new methods related to health economics, outcomes research, clinical translation, eCOA technology, and/or clinical research.
· Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid driver’s license
