Senior Solutions Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ICON Enterprise architecture team help ensure ICON's business is enabled by technology to meet business objectives.

This team works on ensuring that new solutions and existing systems can be take advantage of technology change and utilize transforming capabilities

such as data engineering, automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and use of cloud services. This role will increase

our capacity to support the diverse business units and system landscape so that we can influence the direction to reduce duplication of effort

and unnecessary processes and speed the delivery of transformative capabilities.

The IT Architect must translate business requirements and problems into technical solution recommendations that support and align with an Enterprise approach

to simplicity, efficiency, portability and interoperability that can be delivered on time and budget.

The IT architect must have a solid understanding of technology, be able to develop and size solution options,

review with relevant teams and present these to stakeholders for approval. They need to be willing and able to work across business

and technical teams and be able to articulately communicate their ideas.

Must have worked in Senior Solution Architect/Enterprise Architect role with 16+ years of experience.

Experience in Life Science is preferable.
