The VP Imaging will provide the corporate strategic direction and guidance for the technology driven clinical trials business across the imaging space.  This role will oversee a growing business. The ideal candidate will have held a significant leadership role in a technologically driven business focused on advancing the execution of Phase I - IV clinical trials.  Experience leading clinical based programs in imaging is beneficial.  The successful candidate will be a visionary who excels in gaining buy-in for new initiatives, winning customer interactions and process improvements and will have experience operating at an executive committee level.  This individual will possess excellent leadership qualities and have demonstrated their capability in solving problems, providing clear communication regarding expectations, and in building/leading high performance teams.  

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Provide the leadership and strategic direction required for the continual growth of a multimillion dollar clinical development business.
  • Provide oversight and management of a global P&L with a focus on revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute strategy to lead the Imaging group in support of the Company’s overall strategic plan and growth initiatives.  
  • Work with other senior leaders in devising strategies to grow the company’s business and maintain an industry leadership position supporting technology integration and company strategies.
  • Develop an operational plan that will offer advancement addressing how clinical technology may be integrated into the development process to improve timelines and administration for clinical protocols, thereby adding value to the business.
  • Maintain cost control and improved profitability by managing the budget planning process in line with the Company’s growth targets.
  • Develop excellent client relationships and customer service by actively monitoring customer satisfaction.  
  • Lay the ground work for preferred provider arrangements by fostering long-term collaboration with clients based on successful project performance.
  • Attract, recruit and develop world-class talent.
  • Support the Company’s culture and values by promoting an honest and trustful working environment.  
  • Represent the Company as an authority in the imaging market by staying relevant on developments within the industry.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive clinical / healthcare technology leadership experience working in a CRO, or healthcare services company.
  • Demonstrated successful senior level executive experience in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Executive-level problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with highly scientific client management teams.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with proven experience in managing global operations in multiple countries.
  • Senior-level writing skills, oral communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Possesses executive presence.  Capable of establishing immediate credibility with business partners as well as within the company, able to build consensus and achieve goals through influence versus direct line authority.
  • Must have impeccable integrity as a leader and quickly be seen as a role-model for leadership
  • Must be able to recruit and develop leadership and attract top talent to the organization in order build a succession plan.
  • Able to work efficiently in a team oriented setting; willing and open to contribute to other work groups in terms of personality and competence.
  • Innovative approach when solving problems while considering possible implications of the decisions made.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
