Accounts Receivable Associate

ICON currently has an opening for ambitious professional, who is looking build a career within the Accounts Receivable department at ICON.

The position of Accounts Receivable is based in our Leopardstown, Dublin HQ on a hybrid working basis and offers wide support through your exams, and also the opportunity to develop a career within Financial Reporting and introduce to working at a global organization.

Working as part of a large team, the Accounts Receivable role will be responsible for billings, customer set up and resolving client queries.

The Accounts Receivable Associate duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare, verify and carry out invoicing via electronic processing and reporting activities according to specific deadlines for assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Manage client relationships.
• Reconciliation of accounts.
• Keep up to date with progression of contracts with respect to invoicing units and rechargeable costs.
• Close interaction with Revenue team to ensure timely billing and investigate discrepancies on assigned clients.
• Liaison with Project Managers on fees and rechargeable costs.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries.
• Setting up and maintenance of contract files.
• Ad-hoc projects as required.

To be considered for the Accounts Receivable Associate position, you may be:

• Studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business.
• Have prior work experience within a finance or an office environment.
• Experience working with disputes, customer service or query resolution.
• Analytically minded seeks out problem-solving opportunities.
• Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks at a time.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel.
