The Role:

As the Business Information Associate, you will be responsible for producing high quality, sales focused informational documents in response to internal and external Requests for Information (RFI) that distinguish ICON from its competitors.

You will benefit from exposure throughout ICON’s Commercial and Operations infrastructure, working with individuals in Project Management, Finance, Marketing, Proposals, Business Development and ICON executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Development in winning new business for ICON
• Deliver high quality client focused responses for RFI’s (Requests for Information) in a timely fashion
• Manage the preparation, review and submission of RFI’s for new business
• Support the development of strategic and preferred provider opportunities
• Chair kick-off and strategy meetings as appropriate and solicit input and review of RFI’s from appropriate personnel including Senior management, Operations and Business Development to ensure the RFI matches the business needs
• Ensure quality, accuracy and consistency across all ICON content
• Ensure all RFI’s adhere to Business Development SOP’s and procedures
• Continuously assist and add to content library to ensure that quality of RFI’s is continually improved

To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, business, technology or information technology or equivalent
• Excellent writing and communication skills with demonstrable experience in producing high quality documents either in a professional or academic environment
• Strong Organisational, Time Management and multi task skills with problem solving and analytical skills to work under pressure
• Strong Team Player with an ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels while at the same time being able to work on your own initiative
• Previous RFI or Proposal Development experience would be advantageous
• Previous Clinical Research experience would also be advantageous
