Responsibilities:
• This is a leadership role responsible for operations of all testing areas in the central lab in Dublin. Testing areas include general safety testing and also customer driven specific testing of complex areas. This position has 6 to 8 direct reports and 40 indirect reports.
• The team is mostly made up of Medical Technicians and Technologists who conduct sample processing and instrument management.
• The laboratory has two divisions Chemistry & Hematology. The Operations Director is responsible for leading & monitoring productivity, operational metrics, budgets, quality improvement & delivery and special projects.
Qualifications:
You will need:
- Desirable 5 years of experience or more as Director, Clinical Operations
- Advanced English for Write / Read / and Talk
- The successful applicant will be scientifically educated preferably to masters level Bachelor’s
- Desirable exp. with customer relationship
- Desirable Clinical Trials Exp
- Previous exp. with Director Level
- Exp. with Project Management
- Previous exp. as Line Manager
- Have worked in a testing laboratory working on projects at a significant scale
- You will already have experience of working with & supporting large teams of technicians as an experienced senior manager
- Imaging Background
Note: Homeworker but you need to have 100% of availability to travel.
