- Co-ordinate, develop and lead the existing GBS BP team.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and promote effective and efficient GBS practices and exemplary service delivery. This requires the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and to have an understanding of business priorities and operations.
- Manage customer relationships and expectations to ensure on-going high client satisfaction.
- To work with other team members to prepare accurate consolidated and departmental forecasts, budgets and long term plans. Identify risks and opportunities to the forecast and budget and devise risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare variance analysis of actual financial results to previous forecasts, budgets and prior periods.
- Work with stakeholders to benchmark GBS departments against industry standards, identify key performance indicators (KPI), establish and maintain performance measures and goals aligned with KPIs.
- Develop ad hoc financial analysis and procedures to support current and emerging initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Financial Reporting team to ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Focus on talent development, building a strong team that can cater for customer requirements.
- Fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience in an industry financial role.
- Ability to manage a high performing team of 3 individuals.
- Demonstrated history of resourcefulness and problem solving, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated ability of performing in-depth analyses of industry market trends, company financial performance and implementing forecasting techniques.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles combined with a business focus.
- Excellent EXCEL knowledge.
- Good systems experience, Oracle, Hyperion, Powerpoint an advantage.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Candidate should be ambitious, able to multi-task & work well under pressure
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
