HR Manager - Benefit Operations- Blue Bell, PA- Hybrid
As the HR Manager- Benefits Operations, you will play a pivotal role as a trusted resource for ICON employees in the US and Canada, ensuring the administration and delivery of Benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Life, disability, and 401k. We are seeking a proactive self-starter with a positive attitude to lead a team responsible for the delivery of these essential benefits. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Effectively manage a team, fostering a fun, collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in the administration and delivery of leave of absence, healthcare benefits, possessing a deep understanding of large self-insured medical benefits administration.
- Vendor Management: Partner and oversee vendors, build strong relationships
- Leverage system and process automation: to reduce benefits administration
- Communicating benefit programs to employees for high adoption, participation, and engagement rates
- Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, including Workday build, employee education, and system administration.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at managing time effectively even amidst competing demands and pressing business exigencies.
- Excellent command of project management techniques and practices
- Good understanding and facilitation of Process improvement and process mapping
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong knowledge of US and Canadian benefit programs
- Knowledge of 401k administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Thorough understanding of health and welfare regulations including ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, to include hands on management of a self-insured medical plan and a 401(k) plan.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
