The HR Technology Analyst plays an important role in the development and maintenance of the HRIS system. The system is used for the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of worker data.

Provides support to end users of the HRIS system on a variety of issues and requests through Case Management Tool, telephone and email. Resolves technical problems that are escalated from the Business or HR and supports HR Technology Team with projects of enhancements to existing and new technology.

The role

  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve existing HR Technology processes, functionality and work flow, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes
  • Maintains custom reports to meet the requirements of HR management and the Business
  • Actions EIB loads to support mass data changes to the system
  • Run audit reports and review & adhere to processes to review the integrity of the information in the HRIS system
  • Supports strategic compensation and benefit programs that promote market competitiveness to attract and retain talent
  • Supports performance management, reporting & security within Workday
  • Work closely with IT to troubleshoot all integrations from the HRIS system
  • Escalate issues to external Vendor in a timely fashion as required, while being mindful of budget constraints as detailed by HR Technology Leadership
  • Workday closely with Payroll team to identify and fix any payroll integration issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to be used as technical guides for HR Technology team
  • Trains and provides troubleshooting tips to other HR Technology members on features and functionality of HRIS systems and applications as needed
  • Support regular HRIS system updates
  • Comply with audit processes (SOX, internal and external) following correct change control processes and participating in audit as required
  • Managing and responding to cases in Case Management system
  • Providing project support where required

What you need

  • Ability to support, own and drive HR Technology related projects comprising of internal and external team members
  • Ability to take direction with minimal support
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organisation
  • Proven expert technical and functional ability in the use of a range of HR information systems - Workday essential
  • Ability to make complex technical customizations across a range of HR Technologies - Workday essential
  • Excellent communication, organisational, problem solving and analytical skills
