Primary Responsibilities Increasemarket awareness,sales andprofitabilityby increasing the number of new clients, new Request for Proposals(RFPs) and New Business Awards (NBAs). • Works closely with Account Directors andengagement partnersto create a plan to enhance newclient penetration. • Connects with newclients and schedules meetingsforthe business developmentteam. • Follows up with new clientsregularly to build meaningfulrelationships. • Researches new clients and identifies newopportunities forICON. • Providesfrequent updatesto the business developmentteamon activity and conversationswith new clients. • Works with the businessdevelopmentteamto prepare for client meetings. • Maintains and manages Salesforce database (SF.com)with all sales activity. • Generates clientinterestfor potentialwebinars, industry meetingsandaudio conferences. • Participatesin the ongoing reviewofICONbusiness development proceduresto ensure consistency on an internationalbasis. • Reviews metrics on a weekly or monthly basisto assess productivity. • Attendsinternalbusiness development calls and meetingsto discuss newopportunities andthe overall sales pipeline. • Learns messaging around ICONdifferentiators and is able to effectively communicate themto clients. • Ability to lead calls and participate in client-facing meetings. • Stand-in to lead RFP process andBDMmeetingsin support ofAccountDirectorswhen needed. • Ability to walk through the entire proposalprocessfromSFentry to client-facing document. • Demonstratesstrong knowledge of organizationalstructure and salesterritories. • Develops a sales methodology and strategy forincreasing newclient penetration. • Executes against a specific account plan;routinely sets andachieves quarterly objectives
