Investigator Payments Coordinator

ICON is currently recruiting for a Grants Specialist skills, who will be working as part of our busy Operations Team and will work closely with our Contracts, Finance & Budgets Coordination Departments, and offers flexible working hours, as well as remote working.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter professional, or even an Accounting or Business Management Graduate, to gain new responsibilities in a range of payments and process driven activities, become commercially focused and be a key player within the organization.

The key duties the Grants Specialist will carry out are:

• Collect budget reports from the internal system, and crosscheck with the Contracts department to ensure accuracy of details regarding payments.
• Managing the internal inbox and internal system.
• Run weekly reports to ensure payments information is accurate.
• Collaborate closely with different departments as well as external clients regarding payments.
• Responding to issues at sites that pose risk and escalating accordingly.
• Performs complex problem solving of Exception Report discrepancies.
• Provide support and guidance to team members as time allows.
• Exhibits increasing ability to identify and solve problems and escalates as appropriate.

To be considered for the Grants Specialist role you must have:

• Can be a Graduate in Accounting or Business Management.
• Good attention to detail & accuracy.
• Have an interest in providing high level of customer service when communicating.
• Confident using Excel (Pivots tables & Lookups is beneficial but not essential).
• Able to multi-task & problem solve.
