Summary:
Solutions Architect must have a solid understanding of technology, be able to develop and size solution options, review with relevant teams and present these to stakeholders for approval. They need to be willing and able to work across business and technical teams and be able to articulately communicate their ideas.
What you do?
The Solutions Architect must translate business requirements and goals into technical solution recommendations that align with an enterprise approach to simplicity, scalability, efficiency, portability and interoperability that can be delivered on time and budget.
Work with IT Security to ensure IT Security principles and practices are adhered to.
Strong interest and understanding of technology, be able to develop and size solution options, review with relevant teams and communicate to all project stakeholders for approval.
Support and engage with the Cloud Governance process and the general Architecture Governance processes that exist within ICON.
Assess third party systems and technologies and work with third party vendors and service providers to advise on selection of best in class systems and partners.
What you need?
Minimum IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering related degree or equivalent with at least 15+ years of experience on application development, implementation and architecture.
Should be currently in a Solution Architect role for 5+ years.
Strong working experience in C#.Net, WCF, IIS and, databases like Oracle SQL/PLSQL/MySQL and Web API.
Experience in Life Science / Healthcare / Clinical domain is mandatory.
Experience in Salesforce Technologies is preferred.
Experience with delivering projects using Agile software development techniques.
