Role: Lead Architect
Location: Ireland, Dublin

What about the TEAM:
Applied Digital Solutions (ADS) provides full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for key products used by ICON in the execution of clinical trials.
This ALM encompasses all phases of the product lifecycle including strategy and business alignment through to product inception, planning, development, marketing and sales support, and product service and support.
We are a very tightly integrated team where collaboration, ownership, and delivery are key foundations of what makes us successful. We are a dynamic team where best in class enterprise deliveries are a given and quality a must.
What about the MISSIONS:
As a Lead Architect you will be a key role in taking a cross product view for architecture and design of new features or upon the possible inclusion of new products. You will also define best practice in the development of software in terms of technology, SDLC and cross product design decisions.

Definition of Architecture Principles
Defining, Maintaining and Specifying Architectural Artefacts across the Firecrest product set
Definition of Best Practices in the provision of Enterprise Software Products
Definition of Continuous Improvement Initiatives
Execution of Continuous Improvements in:
Technology Infrastructure Evaluation and Deployment
SDLC Process Execution
Testing and Validation Infrastructures
Security, Performance and HA Testing Infrastructure
Researching and Evaluating emerging technologies for applicability to Firecrest current and future product developments
*Ensuring that there is a good understanding technical impact of designs and new product features to the overall architecture of the Firecrest product set
Work closely with Product Delivery to understand the product roadmap and ensure that current systems architecture is in place to facilitate that roadmap.
What about YOU:
Vast experience or relevant experience in progressive IT as part of software development team with an emphasis on architecture and best practice
Strong On-premise software, Cloud software skills
Subject Matter Expertise in Agile Methodology.
Strong product development, testing, validation and engineering skills.
Energetic individual, eager to manage multiple activities and priorities. Dedication to quality in all work tasks and deliverables.
Excellent understanding of the software business and its practices.
Active involvement in the use of online communities and an understanding of the use of current online and digital technologies
