Role: Manager, Finance - 12 month contract, with the possibility to go permanent

Location: Ireland, Dublin

The role:

The Manager of Corporate Finance is part of a small, compact but highly valuable and visible team.  The function is responsible for the development, analysis, interpretation and application of Group accounting information, including all external reporting.

Charged with providing assistance and leadership in controls and reports on the financial affairs of the business.  Success will be governed by an ability to provide superior financial analysis to key stakeholders for decision making purposes. 
 

Responsibilities:

• Key member of the Corporate Financial Reporting team. 

• Oversee the monthly & quarterly group consolidation reporting close process to strict deadlines ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the information reported.  

• Manage all stock exchange reporting obligations (both NASDAQ/SEC) to strict deadlines ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the information reported. 

• Act as a key liaison with external auditors to ensure timely sign off of technical accounting matters. 

• Co-ordinate with the Financial Reporting team during the statutory reporting process for all legal entities ensuring compliance with all regulatory and taxation requirements.  

• Support M&A activities where appropriate, to include for example due diligence,  post deal integration and a range of other related duties 

• Provide accounting and regulatory guidance (both US GAAP & IFRS) to internal customers and stakeholders on key accounting issues impacting the business. 

• Enforcement of SOX/ COSO Framework controls and accounting policies and procedures, and the maintenance of internal controls/processes and SOX/ COSO compliance programs. 

• Be accountable for complex accounting issues resolution process, including identifying, tracking, researching, analyzing and documenting technical accounting and presentation matters. 

• Develop presentation materials for Audit Committee meetings. 

• Develop & monitor key business and performance indicators in conjunction with Senior Management. 

Experience:

• Qualified Accountant with 5 years post qualification experience. 

• Fully conversant with best practice in accounting standards, policies and procedures, possessing a superior track record of technical financial and regulatory management within a significant and relevant industry sector. USGAAP & IFRS reporting experience are requirements.   

• Experienced in a range of finance disciplines including corporate finance, regulatory reporting, taxation, and treasury.
