Feasibility Manager

ICON is looking for a strategic expert to manage the process of clinical project feasibility as a part of our global team based in EU.  We are seeking someone who have previous proposal Feasibility experience (not SiteID) coupled with solid proposal Oncology specialty.  

Key Responsibilities:

• To be able to perform as a technical expert in feasibility process for internal and external clients and to provide strategic input to Business Development Operations to Sponsors through Bid Defence and supervision of other feasibility associates during Bid Defense (or potential preferred partner) meetings. To provide handover to awarded  projects to the site identification team regarding relevant feasibility strategy proposed during RFP process.

• To lead and manage the process of clinical project feasibility during stand alone feasibility (awarded) projects by managing and being accountable for the delivery of stand alone service projects assigned to the individual.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in a life science, communication, and/or scientific discipline. Alternatively, a 2-year degree (or the local equivalent) with in-depth proven experience and demonstrated career progression in the clinical research environment may be considered for highly motivated candidates.
• Must have, prior relevant experience in executing Global feasibility studies preferably at the proposal stage and / or expertise in clinical site identification.

• Prior relevant experience a broad range of the range of therapeutic areas as a manager / project manager.

• Substantial international experience in clinical drug development across abroad range of therapeutic areas.

• Experience in managing teams, with proven responsibility for delivery to timelines, ideally this will include the ability to deliver recruitment based activities.
• A consummate communicator, both in written and spoken English language. Able to produce reports to a high standard. Fluent in English and another language would be desirable.
• Able to multi-task and work well within a high pace pressurised environment.
• Highly numerate with strong commercial awareness.
• Well-developed negotiation skills with the ability to liaise successfully and ability to work independently, to make decisions and to progress projects.
