- Provide level 1 & level 2 Support for Oracle R12 E-Business Suite. This includes supporting the standard application & ICON Customizations.
- The user will in time actively participate in the building out of the application. This will include implementing new modules, enhancing existing forms and building new reports
- Modules in scope are General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, I-Expenses & Projects.
- As a business analyst, the employee will have responsibility for understanding the requirements and/or issues to be addressed, proposing, modelling, and designing a potential solution, reviewing this solution with peers, business partners and stakeholders, configuring/developing or programming appropriate functionality within the Oracle solution suite and managing the testing process to assure the business requirements have been met.
- Must be able to work closely with the business to address system enhancements and process issues.
- Recommend upgrades / patches to the Oracle EBS suite.
- Develop new extensions or configure current modules as needed to address business issues.
- Document user procedures / processes.
- Research and provide solutions to issues reported by the user or other team members.
- Design and develop RICE components as required.
- Thoroughly test configurations, business rules, extensions, enhancements / modifications and management of the migration process into the production environment.
Required Skills
- Degree qualified in computer science or finance & accounting qualification an advantage but not mandatory.
- 4+ years’ experience with Oracle EBS including R11 / R12 from a functional (mandatory) & technical perspective (highly preferable).
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS concepts, systems, software solutions and business modules with a focus on Financials & Projects. Hyperion & ESSBASE experience helpful but not essential.
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interact positively with upper management as well as communicating problems to appropriate teams within our organization.
- Ability to partner with senior-level management.
- Strong SQL Skills required (just below developer level).
- Strong problem solving and business process design skills with the ability to configure Oracle modules and specify extensions.
- Good understanding of how to operate on Metalink/MOS.
