Job Summary
The Panel Manager/Project Leader provides comprehensive team, administrative, and project support to ensure effective overall management of accounts and execution of deliverables. Project Leaders is responsible for managing data collection projects, recruiting for primary research projects and managing contacts (KOL's and healthcare professionals) in ICON's proprietary database, supporting market research and strategic analytics. Responsibilities include 1) panel management and health including building and maintaining relationships with current panel members, expanding/building the panel through new outreach and relationships, 2) recruiting communications for market research, scheduling/coordinating travel for live meetings and interviews, and 3) leading and managing projects requiring support for data collection.
Job Responsibilities
- Comply with company-sanctioned processes for delivery of projects through adherence to best practices/SOPs and use of internal systems (for example, Workzone/iLearn) that enable efficient and effective execution.
- Interact with internal delivery teams including Content, Creative, Finance, and other delivery operations members to assure that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget to meet client expectations
- Assist teams in addressing and responding to client requests
- With guidance from senior staff, the Project Leader is expected to support the financial and project management of assigned projects to ensure successful execution and outcomes.
- Lead and manage projects requiring only data collection support
- Manage day-to-day activities required for managing panel member information and data in panel management platform
- Ensure the clean-up and refresh of current panel member information and data;
- Monitor and track panel member participation ratings
- Identify and onboard new contacts/panel members
- Work closely with account teams to fulfill recruitment sample for research projects
- Online Surveys
- Interviews (Telephone, online, and in-person)
- Live meetings (focus groups, advisory boards, mock P&T meetings)
- Lead/manage all recruiting activities and communications for qualitative and quantitative research purposes
- List/sample development (working with external vendors when necessary)
- Invitations and reminders
- Scheduling of qualitative research (e.g., interviews and focus groups)
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with panel members
- Partner and coordinate with ICON associates to improve panel functionality and recruiting/honoraria processes
- Develop and execute a development strategy for panel renewal and growth
- General understanding of other department best practices
