We have an incredible opportunity for a French-Speaking Patient Recruitment Associate to join ICON’s Accellacare team, on a 6-month contract. The Patient Recruitment Associate is integral to support the growth and success of Accellacare as an organization. The Patient Recruitment Assistant will encourage patients to participate in clinical research studies, through conducting phone screens. They will review patient’s basic medical information to determine eligibility, discuss research opportunities, maintain the patient database, and report recruitment outcomes.

What you will be doing:
- Screen potential study participants accordingly to protocol inclusion and exclusion criteria by asking study specific questions
- Review, enter, and edit patient information into clinical trial management software
- Book patients into site schedulers ensuring that entries are accurate and up to date
- Read and understand the purpose and inclusion/exclusion criteria for each protocol
- Respond to all leads within a 24-hour time period
- Identify appropriate study opportunities for interested volunteers based on knowledge of clinical trials and neighboring locations
- Problem solve and create contingency plans to optimize enrollment
- Effectively communicate the importance of research participation to volunteers
- Provide an exceptional patient experience by building positive rapport and consistent follow-up
- Strive to meet personal and team targets
- Work in strict confidentiality in all forms including electronically, written forms, and verbal
- Remain accountable for delivering high quality, accurate work, ensuring all administration is filed accordingly
Your profile:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in a healthcare/scientific field
- Fluent in English and French (written and verbal)
- An interest in clinical research
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortability fielding inbound and outbound phone calls
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in customer service, marketing, or sales (preferred)

Le poste d’assistant(e) au recrutement des patients est essentiel pour soutenir la croissance et la réussite de l’organisation Accellacare. L’assistant(e) au recrutement des patients encourage les patients à participer à des études de recherche clinique. Il ou elle effectue des entretiens téléphoniques, passe en revue les données médicales de base des patients pour déterminer leur admissibilité, discute des possibilités d’études de recherche, met à jour la base de données des patients et rapporte les résultats du recrutement.

Ce que vous ferez :
- Filtrer les participants potentiels pour une étude en fonction des critères d’inclusion et d’exclusion du protocole et en posant des questions spécifiques à l’étude
- Passer en revue, entrer et modifier les informations sur les patients dans le logiciel de gestion des essais cliniques
- Inscrire les patients dans les planificateurs du centre d’étude en veillant à ce que les entrées soient exactes et à jour
- Lire et comprendre le but et les critères d’inclusion et d’exclusion de chaque protocole
- Répondre à tous les participants potentiels dans un délai de 24 heures
- Identifier les possibilités d’études appropriées pour les volontaires intéressés en fonction de la connaissance des essais cliniques en cours dans les centres à proximité
- Résoudre les problèmes et créer des plans d’urgence pour optimiser les inscriptions
- Communiquer efficacement l’importance de la participation à la recherche aux volontaires
- Offrir une expérience exceptionnelle pour les patients en établissant une relation positive et un suivi cohérent
- S’efforcer d’atteindre ses objectifs personnels et ceux de l’équipe
- Travailler en respectant les normes de confidentialité sous toutes ses formes, pour toute communication, par voie électronique, écrite et verbale
- S’assurer de fournir un travail de haute qualité et précis, en veillant à ce que les documents soient déposés auprès du service administratif approprié
- Être motivé(e), et organiser sa propre charge de travail pour assurer une exécution efficace des tâches et des projets qui lui sont confiés
Votre profil :
- Baccalauréat, de préférence dans un domaine de la santé/scientifique
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (écrit et verbal)
- Un intérêt pour la recherche clinique
- Compréhension de base de la terminologie médicale
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
- Confort pour répondre aux appels téléphoniques entrants et sortants
- Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois
- Compétences organisationnelles et souci du détail
- Capacité à travailler sous pression et avec des délais serrés
- Connaissances informatiques, notamment avec la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Expérience en service à la clientèle, en marketing ou en ventes (de préférence)
