Performance and Reward Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Interprets and ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws regulating salary administration in US. Performs job evaluation and determines overtime requirements according to Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) regulations.
  • Performs analysis and recommends changes to compensation programs, policies, procedures, and/or salary structures to be responsive to the organization's goals, competitive practices, company policies, and global labor laws and regulations.
  • Works cross-functionally with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Legal and Finance to solve compensation-related business problems and provides compensation guidance.
  • Participates in global compensation and market trends surveys. Collects data from various sources, performs data validation, and ensures timely submission.
  • Supports base and variable pay annual compensation review process.
  • Maintains and audits compensation related data.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) regulations and ability to perform exemption testing.
  • Knowledge of Canadian labor laws is a plus
  • 3 to 5 years of experience is required
  • Strong attention to details
  • MS Office Suite experience is required
