Procurement Associate - Bulgaria, Sofia Hybrid: Office/Remote

We are currently seeking a Procurement Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Process & Infrastructure Procurement Associate, with ICON you will be a key member of the Process & Infrastructure Team within the Procurement Department. You will be fully supported, working with experienced managers in a collaborative environment where you will play a key part in a developing team.You will bring a fresh energy and perspective to maintaining and optimising current processes, supporting strategic goals and enhancing overall operational performance.
What You Will Be Doing:- Support day to day Supplier Management Portal (SMP) & Individual Consultant Portal (ICP) activities & reports including but not limited to:
- Supplier Onboarding administrative tasks, including initial evaluation of Supplier Assessments within the SMP.
- Supplier Onboarding Finance tasks, production, distribution and receipt of Finance information in conjunction with our internal Supplier Maintenance Teams.
- Evaluations for Supplier Periodic Assessments as part of ICONs ongoing Supplier due diligence.
- Completion of weekly continuous monitoring of Suppliers via World Check to identify potential risks posed by Supplier entities.
- Effective management of the Global Supplier Listing (GSL) data within SMP including but not limited to:
- Periodic review of data within the system, running reports and liaising with the Procurement Team to resolve queries and ensure accuracy of data.
- Updating of any changes involving data in a timely manner.
- Communicate and liaise effectively with the Procurement Team in order to maintain and improve current processes.
- Assists with report preparation for the business via SMP & excel
- Deliver excellent customer service with a goal to become a trusted advisor to Suppliers and internal stakeholders alike.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of projects relating to all and any of the Process Unity platforms.
- Involved in working with Environmental & Social Governance team (ESG) to progress the ESG strategy.
- Involved in strategic initiatives for Process & infrastructure (e.g. training, process document preparation, development of tools).
- Minimum 3-5 years experience, preferably in a global business environment.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to explain complex topics clearly)
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Advanced competency with MS Excel spreadsheets (data manipulation, formula writing, CSV support, pivot tables).
- Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) - experience with VBA a plus.
- Ability to build consensus, teamwork, and creativity within a collaborative team with limited supervision.
- Proven technical aptitude/creative problem solver/quality-focus.
- As Desirable skills: previous project management experience.
- Energetic and positive interpersonal approach
