Director, Production Services Role at MediMedia Managed Markets:
 
Location: Yardley, PA
 
In this role, you will oversee print and electronic publishing, websites, custom projects, and staff management. You will be responsible for coordinating complex production projects autonomously from start to finish.  The Director, Production Services may also have team responsibilities with Advertising Agencies, Account Services, Sales, Print Vendors, and/or Fulfillment and the like.

Responsibilities:
Manages production team that includes production process, page layout, printing, and mailing for two leading managed care, monthly print and digital journals.  
  • Coordinates with Advertising Agencies, Account Services, and Sales Staff to maintain monthly ad page schedules and budgets, consistently improving costs and delivery times due to optimized vendor relations
  • Collaborates with Advertising Agencies, Account Services, and Sales Staff to develop custom products, pricing, proposals, and support materials
  • Managing content copy rights and reuse
  • Works directly with Publisher to maintain schedules and improve efficiencies
  • Works directly with Finance to track, invoice, and report print, electronic, web, and custom projects
  • Vendor relations for digital posting, providing research and recommendations for mobile applications
  • Maintains and prepares component deployment of Conference Partnership tactics (i.e., converting files to HTML5 documents, etc.)
  • Consults on website updates for user interface and backend requirements
  • Manages Printer relations for journal fulfilment for circulation lists. Determines and coordinates with Printer the monthly manufacturing schedule for final delivery to circulation list
  • Works directly with Circulation Manager for fulfilment.
 
 
To Succeed You Will Need:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of publications experience
  • Experience managing financials
  • Excellent attention-to-detail, organizational and communication skills are required
  • Minimum of 3 years supervising staff preferred, but not required
  • Medical, Healthcare, and/or E-Commerce background helpful but not required
