Project Operations Analyst role at ICON:
The Clinical Research Planning department’s role is to develop fit-for-purpose and efficient resourcing and planning solutions that can be utilized across ICON’s growing sponsor portfolio by the Project Management Department to effectively manage studies and ultimately improve Operational Metrics. Assist the PM in ensuring that all project Plans including PMP and functional plans are complete by required timeframe. Lead project timeline and enrollment planning meetings for assigned projects, run recruitment scenarios and recommend solutions to address gaps that have an impact on the project timelines and work with PM to implement best course of action. Communicate all issues, decisions and action items through minutes and escalation meetings
The objectives of the Project Operations Analysts is to support Project Managers in project planning through knowledge and application of project plans, tools and systems, by providing guidance and training to the PM designed to improve the PMs’ understanding of ICON tools to manage the study, drive data integrity, higher compliance with system use and ultimately to improve Operational Metrics. The POA also provides assistance to the PM from a list of approved PM tasks enabling the PM to focus on client management project oversight.

Role Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in medicine, science or equivalent degree and a qualification in Project Management or equivalent (PMI certification) are desirable. At least 3 years of project management experience along with training, analysis or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience. Excellent communication, planning, decision-making, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills.
