Project Assistant - Patient Reported Outcomes research

Icon's Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) group is looking for a Project Assistant to support our team based at our offices in Oxford.

The PRO group focus on patient-centred research, including disease symptoms, quality of life, adherence and treatment satisfaction. Much of our work involves instrument development, qualitative research, patient preference studies and literature reviews to support late-phase clinical trials for pharmaceutical clients. The team is highly respected in the field of applied qualitative and quantitative research.

PRO is part of ICON plc, an international Clinical Research Organisation headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. We are respected globally for the quality and innovation of our work, undertaking consultancy projects for international clients in both the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.

• Bachelor's degree  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to work in collaboration with internal and external colleagues to meet project objectives, timelines and budgets
• To be able to take responsibility for project tasks and see them through to successful completion
• Able to determine the multiple tasks involved in a project and to prioritize their completion
• Able to adapt to changes in deadlines and changes in the nature of projects
• Works well with other individuals and departments to solve problems
