The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. This role in particular supports the IRT team in dealing with customer queries as part of the ICON help desk and comes with great career progression opportunities through the IRT department at ICON.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Support Analyst, IRT you will:
* As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
* Provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to inquiries, suggestions and requests.
* Resolves complex customer inquiries and requests appropriately and efficiently maintaining strong client relationships.
* Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
* Travel (approximately 0%) domestic and/or international.
* Perform project support activities in a manner that is in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate regulations
* Make independent judgments to complete tasks/requests as appropriate for studies
* Resolve critical/complex requests made by ICON HelpDesk
* Provide critical input to Project Management for proactive resolutions and improvements
* Liaise with internal and external clients on project support related matters
* Maintain confidentiality of project information as appropriate
* Other responsibilities may be assigned as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Customer Service setting and high levle communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience using technology such as Microsoft Word and the ability to type efficiently and clearly in order to relay messages
- Previous experience in a CRO is only desirable and not essential
- Degree level qualified is preferred.
