Responsibilities

• Perform research assignments in the lab.
• Collaborate with Research Scientists and ICL Sponsors to develop, optimize, and validate new molecular, tissue or cell-based assays.  
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and Scientific Affairs to present publications and marketing material. 
• Participate in client interactions regarding assay development and validations. 
• Prepares reagents as needed, maintains quality control records, compiles any required statistical data and maintains the cleanliness of work areas. 
• Responsible for the performance of required manual procedures and operation of automated instrumentation. 
• Support sample testing in global clinical trials through scientific collaboration with Laboratory Operational staff in assay quality, expected results, troubleshooting and data review.  
• *Review departmental activities to ensure efficient and effective processes are in use, striving for continuous quality improvement including instrument operation, standardization, and inventory control.
• Collaborate with Global Validations (as needed) to validate and implement new assays in clinical trials.
• Lead review of SOPs to ensure they remain relevant, and staff is in compliance. Writes SOP and validation summaries as required.
   

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience with flow cytometry
• Bachelors Degree in science related field
