SAS Programmer – INTERN OPPORTUNITY

Office based in Lexington, Kentucky

12 month opportunity flexible hour

US$ 25 per hour

Mapi has recently been acquired by ICON.  Hence you may now find that your local Mapi office is now branded ICON.  We are looking to add a SAS Programmer to our team in Lexington, KY! 

We are offering a 12 month internship for a local student with good SAS Programming skills.  We can be flexible with the hours.  You may wish to work more hours over the summer and reduce those down to on average 20 hours during term time.

As a SAS Programmer, you will work with the SAS Programming team. You will be allocated a mentor during your time with us. 

As SAS Programmer you will already possess good SAS programming skills and will enjoy the programming focus of this role.  The SAS Programmer is responsible for performing related SAS programming skills eg validation listings, lock databases, analyse datasets, tables, listings and figures from a single environment in accordance with the study specifications, applicable guidelines, regulatory requirements and Standard Operations Protocols given our clinical research environment.

Qualifications:

Education:   You will be currently completing your studies likely in a Mathematical, Computing or Life Sciences Degree.

Experience:  Minimum 60 hours of SAS Programming learning

Solid SAS Programming skills

This role will not teach you SAS Programming skills from scratch.  We will need you to already possess those.  We will offer you the opportunity to develop those skills in a clinical research setting with a great, supportive team.
