At ICON Lab and Imaging Solutions (ILI), we are dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and associated services for clinical trials. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scientific Affairs Specialist to join our team and play a role in delivering consistent and high-quality scientific support for global clinical studies.

As a Scientific Affairs Specialist, you will use your scientific expertise to research pros and cons of varied diagnostic assay solutions, provide test menu recommendations, investigate data queries and provide recommendations that optimise data quality, and, assist in the creation of scientific communications.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Test menu road map mgmt.

  • Monitor new assay release from diagnostic vendors

  • Monitor trends in new clinical trial therapeutic areas and associated assays/tools

  • Generate objective data that identifies needed test solutions and contribute to establishment of those solutions

• Manage scientific component of RFI queries

• Triage SA queries and perform data investigations that improve clinical trial data quality

• Assistance with Marketing activities, including, creation of standard SA slides and Creation of case studies for abstract/webinar/white paper based on completed studies

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's or above degree in Medical Technology/ Life Sciences or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of clinical laboratory concepts and terminology.

• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

• GCP Certification.

• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide timely, confident, reliable, and friendly service to internal and external customers.

• This position is based at our Dublin office at least three days/week
