Accellacare(ICON) has a very exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Mobilization Contracts (Home-Worker) to join their team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the contracting process for the Accellacare site mobilization team. This may include, but is not limited to, master contract agreements with sites, vendor agreements in order to enable sites to conduct new studies, and study contracting agreements with pharmaceutical sponsors. You will have global responsibilities with particular emphasis in US and EMEA regions. This is a full time role that will report directly into the Senior Director, Mobilization but will have close collaborations with Accellacare legal and centralized contracting teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all mobilization master collaboration agreements, working with the mobilization team to ensure a thorough understanding of site requirements and Accellacare models
- Have a strong understanding of Accellacare models and how we work with sites, taking into account complexities of site operational models when negotiating site contracts
- Report current status and potential issues/concerns to management related to contracts and offer solutions.
- Detailed understanding of each operational department's tasks and roles within Accellacare as well as cost drivers within ICON that are affected by contracts
- Recognize when client questions/comments need required input and review by Legal and/or operations/senior management.
- Understand and interpret legal language contained in a MSA, Letter of Intent, Start-up Agreement and standalone contracts.
- Develop and maintain client/project files and tracking tools as needed.
- Ability to innovate, able to identify, escalate and implement solutions to create efficiency and increase client satisfaction
- Offer solutions to problems and be prepared to carry out the solution. Offer a balanced, comprehensive view that incorporates all the immediate decision making factors and a long term view toward downstream implications
- Take a strategic approach to client relationships. Identify and drive change to improve satisfaction and efficiency.
Job Competencies:
- At least 4-6 years' experience in clinical research contracting is required, preferably at a site or in a site-facing role within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or related organization
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree is required at minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Strong at detail management and process-driven
- Strong writing ability is required
- Previous experience with client relationship management is preferred
- Ability to review data and understand reporting is required
