The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Regional HR operations. The role has responsibility for the leadership, management, coordination and evaluation of the country HR Managers. Ensuring effective delivery of ICONs country HR Management support to country and people leaders via the planning and implementation of global and regional HR people strategies, organizational changes, management of employee and labour relations, effective risk management and sustained legal compliance.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the effective implementation by HR Managers within designated cluster countries of people strategies and plans through the rollout of HR programs and projects and through the provision of local country insight into the broader HR team.
Leading and managing team of circa 2-8 HR professionals (Country HR Managers
Collaborating with Regional Head - HR Operations with regards to unique / specific country requirements and assist in development of process and policy to address cluster country compliance obligations.
Acquisitions, divestments and outsourcing: Deliver country specific HR work streams associated with commercial engagements involving the transfer of employees between legal entities
Responsible for designated country cluster oversight and management of labour relations, legal compliance, cyclical HR activity (performance and reward cycle) and ensuring HR policies and processes meet legal requirements in designated countries.
Delivery of complex advice on key areas such as disciplinary, performance management, redundancy, long term sickness and issues that require country specific interaction.
Proactively work with people leaders within cluster countries to highlight and identify key trends and issues arising from data such as exit interviews, turnover reports, absence and performance reviews and propose specific plans to assist and advise improvements.
Design and delivery of organisational restructuring programs within cluster countries, ensuring legal compliance, effective risk management and optimisation of broader labour and employee relations Lead provision of local country market intel and insight with respect to labour market conditions within designated cluster countries to inform both Talent Acquisition and Reward (Comp and Benefits) team and support development and implementation of TA and Reward actions/ programs
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Senior level HR experience in global, matrixed organisations
Experience and demonstrated capability leading and managing both design and implementation of organizational change
Breadth of experience within the area of Human Resource management with specific focus on operational HR delivery - design and delivery of HR programs: performance management, compensation and benefits, in- employment life cycle policies and programs , on-boarding / off-boarding , restructuring programs, employee relations and labour relations
Strong leadership and People management experience
