As a Senior Research Associate at ICON you’ll learn more about how you can be a vital part of ICON Central Laboratories which is dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and the associate services for clinical trials.

The role: Senior Research Associate- Farmingdale, NY
• Perform experiments within the Research & Development Lab, developing assays, and collaborating with the R&D team to present publications and marketing material.
• prepare reagents as needed, maintain quality control records, compile any required statistical data and maintain the cleanliness of work area as well as oversee performance of required manual procedures and operation of automated instrumentation
• As a mentor for the R&D Lab you will guide Research Associates I and II in method development and fit-for purpose validation, data analysis and statistical review for new cell-based assays. Supervise R&D activities to ensure efficient and effective processes are in use, while striving for continuous quality improvement including instrument operation, standardization, and inventory control

What you need
• Master’s degree in one of the Sciences or equivalent
• You will have 10 years of testing experience or more than 5 years of flow cytometry experience within a lab environment where you demonstrated excellent analytical, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to lift 5-10 pounds.

Salary Range

$73,864 to $92,330

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level.   You may be eligible for a bonus, stock compensation and commissions in some cases depending on your role and performance.
