Senior Treasury Analyst - Hybrid

ICON PLC is currently recruiting for a Senior Treasury Analyst, to join the growing team on a Permanent basis, based in our Leopardstown office.

The position is on a hybrid working, and is ideal for an experienced Treasury Analyst, looking to take the next step up in their career within a large, global PLC that offers stable career progression as well as structure advancement.

The Senior Treasury Analyst roles duties include:

Cash Management & Reporting

• Consolidate individual entity cash flow forecasts.  Analysis and investigation of variances in actuals verses forecasts.
• Manage monthly intercompany cash balances ensuring all intercompany balances are kept to a minimum
• Track and report variance and ensure ad-hoc requests kept to a minimum
• Review new counterparties and new instrument types for the investment of surplus cash 
• Track Investment return to budget 
• Ensure the correct integration of each new entity into the group’s cash management structure through straight through processing
• Responsible for FX dealing and Cash Management for ICON affiliates
• Assist in executing any hedging strategies put forward by the board of the Global Treasury Company
• Report on hedge effectiveness to Sr Treasury Director
• Monthly cash balance reporting for the group & investment portfolio analysis
• Engage with TMS provider to bring about system improvements to day to day cash management, reporting and funding process & variance analysis
• Train treasury analyst on day to day cash management 

Risk Analysis

• Review monthly the risk on investment portfolios and report to Sr Treasury Director 
• Monitor and report on liquidity position and credit limits and advise on modifications where necessary
• Upload FX rates to various systems required
• Monthly benchmark performance analysis for ICON versus competitors

Bank Relationship

• Implement banking services for entities migrating to the current banking system with the assistance of the Sr Treasury Manager
• Handle any settlement issues or banking requirements of local finance teams and raise urgent issues with Sr Treasury Manager  
• Support to Sr Treasury Manager in set up of banking services for acquired companies or new offices across the group.  Handle any new bank account opening in US, Docs & Asia Pac regions 
• Track bank charges to budget and advise on new ways to reduce costs to the P&L

Compliance

• Comply with requirements of Treasury S-Ox RCM responsible for S-Ox Support as applicable
• Assist with SOX Testing when necessary
• Assist in compiling reports for Global Treasury company
• Responsible for ensuring bank mandates & board resolutions are current and up to date in US, Docs & Asia Pac region
• Training of Treasury Analyst on Bank Relationship Module to ensure the signature maintenance project is complete

IT Security & System Risk Analysis

• Perform quarterly electronic banking review
• Banking system fraud training & best practice awareness education for the finance group 
• Liaison with IT security team to ensure best practice is implemented
  System
• Assist Sr Treasury Manager with process improvements which lead to end to end straight through processing
• Implement new systems to track and reduce charges
• Assist Sr Treasury Manager to develop & enhance our reporting suite
• Keep up to date with new market developments and report on new 

To be considered for the Senior Treasury Analyst position, you must have:

• AMCT part qualified or equivalent is beneficial but not essential
• Proven track record in working as a Treasury Analyst in an international organisation
• FX and Money Market Dealing experience
• Knowledge of financial instruments and structures and their use in managing risk
• Experience with Electronic Banking platforms and systems essential
• Professional manner in dealing with banks and internal customers
• Experience in managing High value payments and cross border payments essential
• Experience advising entities on how to identify and manage FX, Liquidity and Interest Rate risk
