Job Title: Senior Windows Administrator
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Windows Administrator to manage and support our company's Windows-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Windows server administration, virtualization technologies, and Active Directory management. The Senior Windows Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and secure operation of our Windows servers, applications, and services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Maintain and optimize virtualization infrastructure using VMware vSphere.
- Manage and administer Cisco UCS servers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Windows server and application issues, including system crashes, slow performance, and network connectivity problems.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and participate in regular testing.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Windows systems with other platforms.
- Manage and support Active Directory, including user and group management, security policies, and group policy management.
- Manage and support ADFS and CA servers.
- Document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Windows server administration, including Active Directory management.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere.
- Experience with Semperis ADFR / DSP.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Excellent scripting / automation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Microsoft certifications, such as MCSE, MCSA, or MCP, are a plus.
- Due to the nature of this position, it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Drivers license..
